Using your razor:
1. Unpackage your new safety razor and unscrew the handle.

It’s actually worth it

Once you get the hang of it, it’s a pleasure to use! I use to hate shaving as my skin was always irritated but this has sorted me out! Granted I think my neck could be smoother but I think it’s the way I’m shaving, my head is super smooth though, hair grows back faster but it’s not a chore anymore to shave.

A traditional Double Edge Safety Razor, is the name for a shaving device with a protective barrier positioned between the edge of the cutting blade and the skin.


Traditional double edge safety razors have been around since 1880. They would have been the razor of choice for your father or grandfather before the cartridge system revolution in the 1970s and 80s.

Recent years have seen a rise in popularity for this classic form of shaving for a number of reasons. Replacement safety razor blades are considerably less expensive than cartridges, making them more economical for long term use. Only one blade and no lubrication strip tends to cause less irritation on skin prone to redness and itching after a shave. Also, due to the reduction in single use plastic, safety razors are better for the environment.

Safety razors require a slightly different technique so can take a bit of getting used to!

Kronos razors have an enclosed head design - this means that the corner of the blade is shielded and as little of the blade is exposed as possible - minimising your risk of nicks & cuts.
