Why does a safety razor need a stand?

To dry between shaves: rinse the head after every shave and stand it upright so air reaches it, because a dry edge lasts longer than a wet one.

What do I do with a used razor blade?

Drop it in a blade bank. A spent blade's coating means ordinary kerbside collection usually won't take it, so a blade bank holds it safely until a recycling centre can.

Three shaving stands, one for each Kronos handle in chrome, bamboo, or rose gold, hold the razor upright so the head drains and the edge dries.
