How long does one razor blade last?

Four to seven shaves, because each side cuts independently, so one blade goes about twice as far as expected.

Do Kronos blades fit any safety razor?

Yes. They're standard double-edge blades that fit any safety razor, Kronos or otherwise, with no cartridge lock-in.

How much does shaving with a safety razor cost per shave?

About ten pence. Twenty blades cost ยฃ10, and each is good for four to seven shaves.

Can a shaving soap or cream help prevent razor bumps?

Yes. Softening the hair before the blade arrives is most of what prevents razor burn, and that's the job a lathered soap or cream does.
