Sandalwood Aftershave Balm
An aftershave balm for skin the shave leaves irritated. Alcohol free, with witch hazel, a natural astringent, to settle nicks that sting. Lightweight and non-greasy; it absorbs quickly and leaves no film.
The scent is sandalwood: warm, woody, and matched to our shaving soap, so the ritual ends where it began.

Bamboo Safety Razor
A single blade safety razor built to be kept. The enclosed head covers the blade corners, the cause of most nicks, and sets a forgiving shave angle, so it bites less around an Adam's apple, a knee, an armpit, or a scalp. One blade cuts at the surface, kinder to skin than five stacked cartridges.
No plastic in either. Two handles: chrome-plated brass, knurled and weighted, or bamboo, warmer to hold. The matching stand dries the blade upright between shaves; a dry edge lasts longer.
Short strokes, light pressure, settled by the third shave for most. Guidance included. Takes any standard double edge blade, about ten pence a shave.

Blade Bank
A used blade is still sharp, and the bathroom bin is no place for it. The blade bank takes each spent blade through a slot in the top and holds around a hundred; years of shaving for most. Full, it seals shut for safe disposal.

Aegean Citrus Shaving Soap
A triple-milled citrus shaving soap, made in England. The scent is Aegean Citrus: Sicilian lemon and petitgrain, with a green edge of rosemary. Loaded with a damp brush, it builds a dense, cushioning lather. Glycerin draws in water, hydrating dry skin so the blade glides.
A 65g puck, 63mm across, pleat-wrapped in glassine paper. It sits snug in our wooden shaving bowl.

What is hysteresis?
- The first blade pulls the hair up. The rest cut it while it is raised.
- It springs back with its cut end below the skin, and grows back in.

Is it hard to learn?
