Shaving Brush
A shaving brush in soft synthetic fibre; vegan, quick to dry, holds its shape. It does two jobs the hand can't: builds a dense lather from soap or cream, and lifts the beard so the blade meets it cleanly rather than pressed flat.
Synthetic dries faster than badger and asks for no upkeep. Store it bristles-down on the stand between shaves.
Blade Bank
A used blade is still sharp, and the bathroom bin is no place for it. The blade bank takes each spent blade through a slot in the top and holds around a hundred; years of shaving for most. Full, it seals shut for safe disposal.

The Large Stand is one of the Kronos shaving stands built to solve a specific problem: a razor and a brush both needing to dry upright, with only one spot on the shelf to put them. It holds any Kronos safety razor and the brush together, weighted so it does not tip when both are loaded onto it.
It is the only Kronos stand sized to hold a razor and a brush together in a single footprint; the others are built for one razor alone. Weighted enough to stay put with both resting in it, it does the same job the solid metal in a razor itself does: staying exactly where it is put.
Left lying flat, water sits in the head instead of draining off it, and a wet blade dulls faster than a dry one. Upright on the stand, the Kronos Safety Razor drains and its edge dries fully between shaves, which is what makes a blade last more shaves.
It holds any Kronos safety razor, in whichever finish, alongside the shaving brush. Most bathroom shelves do not have room for two separate stands, so one weighted stand solving both the space problem and the drying problem is the point of the design.
