Sandalwood Shaving Cream
A sandalwood shaving cream with nothing in it to sting: free from alcohol, petroleum, and sulphates. Its job is simple and it does it well; soften the hair before the blade arrives, which is most of what prevents razor burn.
A little works up quickly, by hand or with the brush. The scent is warm and dry, present during the shave and gone politely after. 100ml.
Shaving Brush
A shaving brush in soft synthetic fibre; vegan, quick to dry, holds its shape. It does two jobs the hand can't: builds a dense lather from soap or cream, and lifts the beard so the blade meets it cleanly rather than pressed flat.
Synthetic dries faster than badger and asks for no upkeep. Store it bristles-down on the stand between shaves.
Wooden Bowl with Sandalwood Shaving Soap
The sandalwood soap and the mango-wood bowl, sold as the pair they were carved and poured to be. The puck sits snug in the recess; the brush loads without chasing it round the sink. Rinse the bowl warm first and the lather comes up looser, faster.
This is how shaving soap is meant to be used. When the puck is done, the bowl takes any standard soap.
