The scent is sandalwood: warm, woody, and matched to our shaving soap, so the ritual ends where it began.

Sandalwood Shaving Soap
A traditional shaving soap, warm sandalwood scent. Loaded with a damp brush it builds a dense, cushioning lather; the blade rides on cushion, not skin. Glycerin draws in water, hydrating dry skin so the blade glides.
One 100g bar outlasts several cans of foam. Best built in a bowl; ours is carved to fit it.

Double edge razor blades in Swedish Cr13 steel, with a platinum-sputtered coating and no PTFE. A 13N edge; keen enough to cut cleanly, gentle enough for sensitive skin. One blade cuts level with the skin, not below it, which is where ingrown hairs start.
Packs run from five to fifty. Each blade is double sided, individually wrapped. They fit all Kronos razors and any standard double edge razor.

Sandalwood Aftershave Balm is built for skin the razor has already argued with: nicks that sting, patches that flare red within the hour. It carries no alcohol. Witch hazel, a natural astringent, settles the skin instead, and the same less-but-better discipline that shaped the Kronos razor decides what goes into the bottle.
Nothing beyond what earns its place goes into the formula: no alcohol, so no sting on contact with broken skin, and witch hazel doing the calming work. The balm is lightweight and non-greasy, absorbing quickly and leaving no film on the skin. There is nothing to wipe off ten minutes later, and nothing left behind on a collar or a pillow.
A single blade cuts cleanly at the surface, already gentler than a cartridge dragging hair below the skin before it cuts it, but skin stays reactive for a few minutes after any shave. The balm closes that gap before a nick starts to sting or a patch turns red, and it carries the same sandalwood scent as the Sandalwood Shaving Cream and the Sandalwood Shaving Soap.
It does not replace a moisturiser. Its job is narrower: settling irritated skin straight after the blade, for anyone whose skin reacts to a standard aftershave splash, the sting on broken skin, the tightness that follows an alcohol-based formula drying it out. The same discipline runs across the wider Kronos care range: fewer ingredients, each one earning its place.
